My family and I loved it at the Congress Plaza Hotel! Big thanks all the way around! We got there really late at night on our first night of the stay, and the overnight staff was still extremely friendly. We were there for four or five nights in the peak of the busy season, and we still got our room service promptly. I never felt like I was bothering anyone by asking for food, extra pillows, etc. The hotel was extremely accommodating. We don't make it to Chicago very often, but if we ever come back, we plan to stay at Congress Plaza again. Definitely worth every penny we paid.

I have a phobia about staying in hotels, so I tend to avoid doing so at all costs. This isn't because I had a bad experience one time or anything. I just don't like thinking about other people's germs being where I'm going to go for the night. I had to be in Chicago for a week for a business conference, and the chairman for the conference put us all up in the Congress Plaza Hotel. Despite my phobia, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Not only were the sheets clean and floors spotless, but even the remotes and phone looked like they had been wiped down. This had to be the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at, and that made me feel much more at home. I'm still hesitant to stay away from my house, but at least now I know where to go if I ever need to be in Chicago again. I would definitely return to Congress Plaza.

I always hate reading reviews that talk about only the positives for a certain hotel. I just find it odd that someone can have nothing bad to say about a place they have stayed in for an extensive period of time So here I am, about to write one of those reviews that I hate about Congress Plaza Hotel in Chicago. Man, this place is amazing! I'm a very critical person, so I try to analyze every situation as if I were looking at a job applicant or a new home to buy. The staff, the room, and even the room service all passed my tests with flying colors. The shower was nice and hot, the room was quiet as can be, and the internet was much faster than what I get at home. The only complaint I have is that I didn't get a chance to stay even longer!

I recently got married to the most amazing woman in the world, and we decided to spend our honeymoon in Chicago. It's a city that we have both always wanted to visit but never really had the opportunity to. Our parents paid for us to stay at the Congress Plaza Hotel for a full week so we could enjoy ourselves, and we were really happy with the service we received. We stayed in one of the suites, and it felt like we were in one of those fancy apartments you always see on TV. They had everything ready for our wedding night, including a bottle of wine and some rose petals on the ground. Without going into detail, I'll just say we had a really lovely time...wink wink. I'm so glad that we got to stay with Congress for our first week as a married couple, and I hope we get to come back some time in the future.

My stay at Congress Plaza was nothing short of spectacular. I had to arrive there well after check-in time because my flight was delayed three times over. After an exhausting day at the airport, I was nothing short of a grouch when I arrived at the hotel. Even with my bad attitude though, the receptionist and bellhop were both extremely friendly, making sure I was cared for from the moment I got in the door. Once I finally had a chance to rest my weary body, I was able to talk to them a little more and thank them for their kindness. That night was probably one of the best nights of sleep I have ever had, if not the best night - period. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I'm not going to write out one of those long reviews that explains every little detail about my trip in Chicago. To be honest, you just don't need to know that. I stayed at Congress Plaza for three nights last month, and I gotta admit, I was impressed. I think the best part of my stay was getting into all of the accommodations, like the pool, in-room massage, high def TV, etc. I think this place really is worth the money. Would I stay there again? You bet. I think everyone should give it a try.
